  • HANA K.

    ARTIST DEVELOPMENT, VOICE & PIANO

    With nearly three decades of stage experience and 15 years of mentoring young musicians, Hana is deeply passionate about both performing and cultivating the next generation of creatives. She is committed to fostering an environment where students not only receive engaging lessons but also develop skills beyond music, such as songwriting and performance. After a decade of teaching in the South Bay, Hana founded The Wonder Note in 2019 as a music learning hub, expanding with a storefront in 2023. She now operates two studios that serve as creative havens for young musicians.

    As a solo performer, Hana has released two albums, one EP, three singles, and numerous other tracks. She has graced prestigious venues like The Ford Amphitheater and The Hotel Cafe, and shared her expertise at over 20 universities across the nation and abroad.

  • TOMMY P.

    PIANO, VOICE & SONGWRITING

    Tommy is a singer-songwriter, pianist, vocalist, and guitarist passionate about sharing music through education. He began classical piano and voice lessons at 7, continuing through college, and performed in church choirs from age 9. Tommy earned a Bachelor of Music in Commercial Music with a focus on piano and performance from William Jessup University, where he led the tenor section and the Crossroads group, a vocal and live band ensemble. He also made it to Hollywood Week on American Idol, earning a golden ticket from Keith Urban, Randy Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Nicki Minaj.

    After college, Tommy performed at festivals and small venues in Sacramento and LA. In 2017, he launched his artist project as Tommy Boi, amassing over 4.2 million streams on Spotify.

  • HANNAH C.

    Hannah Cabral is a Brazilian film composer, pianist, and guitarist based in Los Angeles. Teaching private lessons since 2012, she finds joy in helping students grow on their musical journeys. Her love for music began with guitar lessons from her family and expanded to classical piano at the Conservatory, where she developed a passion for harmony, ear training, and music theory. Hannah earned a degree in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music, specializing in Video Game Scoring. At Berklee, she embraced the diverse community, learning from peers of different cultures.

    Hannah composed the music for the video game Your Average Bear, released on Steam in 2023, and scored the documentary Alive (2023). She believes that music is a form of communication and emotion, and she finds great fulfillment in sharing this living art with her students.

    PIANO & COMPOSITION

    Caden Potter is a Los Angeles-based pianist and composer with 15 years of piano experience and 13 years of composition across genres like classical, jazz, pop, RnB, and salsa. He has taught piano for 8 years and holds a BA in Global Jazz Studies from UCLA, where he studied under renowned musicians and earned a Recording Audio Engineering certification.

    With over 8 years of performance experience, Caden has played at festivals and venues like the Folsom and Mammoth Jazz Festivals, UCLA’s Royce Hall, and the Catalina Jazz Club. In 2022, he performed at the NAMM Show for Yamaha’s CFX Concert Grand debut. He also has recording experience at UCLA’s studios and continues to expand his musical knowledge through performance and study.

  • MADELINE R.

    VOICE

    Madeline Rahn is a versatile vocalist skilled in various vocal techniques, including musical theatre, classical, choral, and jazz. Her journey in music began at the age of five, where she delved into musical theatre and choral music. Throughout high school, she expanded her repertoire by studying classical vocals, eventually earning her BA in jazz vocals from UCLA.

    Beyond her formal training, Madeline is a dedicated songwriter and producer, investing her spare time in crafting original songs across a spectrum of styles, from jazz/RnB to singer-songwriter compositions.

  • RICHARD W.

    PIANO, GUITAR, UKULELE & COMPOSITION
    TEACHING DAYS: WED (PCH) & FRI/SAT (AVI)

    Richard Wang, a Brazilian composer, arranger, conductor, and multi-instrumentalist born in Munich, Germany, began his musical journey at five with piano and violin, later focusing on guitar. He won national classical guitar competitions and performed on TV Brasil’s Partituras in 2016.

    At 19, Richard shifted to composing and studied piano in Vienna and Munich before transferring to Berklee College of Music. He graduated summa cum laude in 2021, scoring films like Joan in Love and The Binding of Itzik.

    In 2022, Richard arranged and conducted James Newton Howard’s Harvey Two Face for a commencement concert, then moved to Los Angeles. He joined Bleeding Fingers, collaborating on projects like Prehistoric Planet II, Camila Cabello’s "Take Me Back Home," and Planet Earth III, and composed for Mountain Men and Welcome to Plathville. His music is featured on Extreme Music.

  • BROOKE M.

    GUITAR, UKULELE, BASS, DRUMS, & PRODUCTION

    Brooke Magidson is a dynamic producer, audio engineer, guitarist, bassist, and songwriter from Southern California. Her musical journey started in a familiar way for many guitarists—captivated by Guitar Hero and inspired by the legendary Slash from Guns N' Roses. At just 10 years old, Brooke swapped her Wii guitar for a real electric one, embarking on a journey that led her through group classes and private lessons, eventually commuting over an hour each way to study jazz, flamenco, and rock guitar at the Orange County School of the Arts.

    Brooke’s passion for music carried her to the Berklee College of Music, where she received a partial scholarship and honed her skills in audio engineering, sound design, production, live arrangement, and songwriting. A proud member of the Class of 2023, she is now excited to contribute to the South Bay community as a music educator at The Wonder Note, where she looks forward to sharing her expertise and inspiring the next generation of musicians.

    DRUMS & PERCUSSION

    Nick Baxter, a Pittsburgh native, grew up with diverse musical influences. After high school, he toured and did session work while attending Robert Morris University. In 2007, he joined The Morning Light, touring with bands like All Time Low and Phantom Planet and reaching #27 on the Billboard Heat Seekers chart.

    Nick moved to LA in 2010 to study at the Musicians Institute, graduating in 2012. He then taught music in Thailand, touring Southeast Asia and winning 1st place in the Trinity College School of Rock and Pop competition. Back in Pittsburgh, he became a sought-after drummer, recording and performing with local artists.Nick toured with Josh Herbert, opening for The Chicks on their 2016 summer tour. Since moving to Southern California in 2017, he has played with artists like Fully Fullwood, La Bamba, and DJ Burt Blackarach.

    PIANO, VOICE, & SONGWRITING

    Classically trained since age 4, Miss Keira shifted gears after graduating from Musicians Institute, Hollywood’s leading contemporary music school, in 2012. At MI, she gained insights rarely covered in traditional lessons, which became the foundation of her teaching. When she began teaching in 2013, she committed to bridging the gap between classical and contemporary music, blending creativity with discipline. Her mission is to demystify unconventional music learning methods and integrate digital production and technology, helping students develop a deep, personal connection with music that fosters lifelong joy and creativity.

    Miss Keira is also an R&B recording artist and music producer, releasing the singles “Jade” and “Yours” from her self-produced album Ethereal in 2022.

    Anya Pelevina is a classical pianist with over ten years of teaching experience. Born in Russia, Anya developed an early passion for film music at the age of twelve, inspired by her mother, a professional musician. She began playing piano at the age of six, further strengthening her love for music. Anya went on to earn a degree from Berklee College of Music, where she developed her skills and expanded her musical knowledge. After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles, where she has built a successful career as a music educator, producer, and composer. Outside of her professional work, Anya enjoys traveling to scenic destinations and attending jazz concerts, blending her passion for music with her love for exploration.
