Richard Wang, born in Munich, Germany, is a Brazilian composer, arranger, conductor, and multi-instrumentalist. He began his musical journey at age five with piano and violin lessons, later adding acoustic and electric guitar. By 12, he focused on classical and electric guitar, performing at venues including Circo Voador in Rio de Janeiro. He won first prize in regional and national classical guitar competitions, leading to a performance on TV Brasil’s "Partituras" in 2016.

Richard transitioned to composing at 19 and returned to piano, studying in Vienna and Munich. He scored scenes for Badri Skhirtladze’s short film and applied to several universities, eventually transferring to Berklee College of Music in Boston. At Berklee, he majored in Film Scoring and Contemporary Writing and Production, meeting notable composers and scoring the short film "Joan In Love" and the award-winning "The Binding of Itzik." He graduated summa cum laude in 2021 and received the Award for Creativity in Commercial Writing.

In 2022, Richard arranged and conducted James Newton Howard’s "Harvey Two Face" for a commencement concert. He then moved to Los Angeles and joined Bleeding Fingers, collaborating with Anže Rozman on projects like "Prehistoric Planet II" and Camila Cabello’s single "Take Me Back Home." He later worked with Jacob Shea on "Planet Earth III" and composed for TV shows like "Mountain Men" and "Welcome to Plathville." Richard’s music is also featured on Extreme Music.
