about Keira

Classically trained since age 4, Miss Keira did a sharp U-turn when she graduated from Musicians Institute, Hollywood’s leading contemporary music school in 2012. At MI, she learned concepts that are rarely taught in traditional voice and piano lessons, but are often the missing elements of a traditional music education. When she began teaching in 2013, she vowed to introduce every single student to these concepts by bridging the two worlds that are often head to head: classical vs contemporary and creativity vs discipline. It is now her life mission to demystify and legitimize unconventional ways of learning music while simultaneously integrating the current times of digital production and technology so that each student can have a real shot at not just talent or a skill, but the deep lifelong joy and creative outlet that comes from truly understanding and having a personal relationship with music. Miss Keira is also an R&B recording artist and music producer.  She released “Jade” and “Yours”, the first two singles off her sultry self produced album Ethereal in 2022.
